Why do Christian preach the Gospel?
Thank you everyone for following or watching my video that I am sharing in Metal Horse Messenger. A Facebook page that I use as my gospel preaching reach out. That share about the spiritual redemption that Jesus promises to give to do who obey. I’ve received a question a very good question in my video. Which I have the opportunity to answer to my special audience. The person that asked this question is very special about the work every Christians are doing. Question asked: “Why do Christians have to preach the Gospel?” This is a very great question. And everyone that have question relating to the Bible you too can ask. The answer that i can give is that I will seek for the answer in the Bible for your questions. If there are questions that I cannot answer, I will talk to the older Christians those who are more mature in the faith have more Bible knowledge. I will talk to them and try to find answers for your questions. The answers that I can give only come from the Bible. Only God can answer the questions relating to the faith and spiritual life. So, I would like to answer the questions that asked: why do we (Christians) have to preach the gospel? First of all, the reason that Christians preaching the gospel because we want to show our obedience, our submission to Jesus Christ. In the Book of Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus has commanded; but I would like to read from a similar scripture to Matthew 28:19-20 from the Book Gospel of Mark 16:15-16, saying: “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. “This is one of the reasons why Christians always proclaiming the gospel, tell those whom they have the opportunity to tell. Or even travel to places to preach the gospel. Because Jesus commanded us to go into all the world to preach the gospel to every creature. If you have heard the Good News of Salvation. You are receiving the calling. When you believed your faith will save you. Because faith come by hearing. In the Book of Romans 10:17 says: “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Friends, we as Christians preach to you about the Good News of Salvation, not with our own thoughts,nor by any men, neither with any NGO’s instruction. But because it is the commandments which were written in the Bible. So that you may have faith. And that faith led you to salvation for your soul. Besides that, when you have faith you can pray, you can call on God and lamenting to God. In the same book of Romans chapter 10, I would like to read from verse 13-14 saying: “For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?” If I have never told you and the God that created the heavens and the earth. About the God that created all things, about God that have created us and He came to saved us all. You may have not known what Jesus have done for us. Maybe you have heard of Him, but not as clear. That is why we have to tell you, so that maybe after you heard you repent and believed in Him so that you maybe receive spiritual salvation. After that you will become like one of us that have hope, knowing that after we passed from this physical life our soul will enter into heaven. This is the reason that we Christians always proclaiming the gospel. I want to tell you that the Good News that we are proclaiming is the news that save your souls. The last scripture for answering to the question that asked: Why do Christians preach the Gospel? Is in the Book of Ephesians 1:13-14 saying: “3 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Therefore, friends, the good news that I am proclaiming is for your spiritual redemption. When you decide to repent from your sin. Live in a new life. Which mean that you obey the Gospel, believed in Jesus, repent, and baptize for the remission of sin, you have born into a new life. After you have been born into a new life you will receive the guarantee which is the Holy Spirit that as God’s promise. The guarantee that we have hope that we will receive our inheritance of God in heaven, and that God is preparing a place of us. I hope that these reasons can be one of the reasons for you why Christians always proclaiming the gospel. Because (1) it’s a command (2) because is it hope and spiritual redemption for you all (3) that you may become one of God’s beloved people.
